The European ISC Members are an informal group of 48 Member Organisations of the International Science Council (ISC) from in Europe.
Based on “Statutes and Rules of Procedure“, their main objectives are to:
- Ensure the inclusion of the interests and priorities of the European science community in the strategic planning of the ISC
- Foster their participation in the global activities and programmes of ISC with mutual benefit
- Facilitate communication between the ISC Secretariat and relevant national bodies
- Coordinate their activities
